#7 - BIG TIZ - Just missed in last, handled by Talamo/Glatt combination, sharp work to prepare.  Other contenders: #9, #4.

#6 - NORTHERN IOWA - Just missed in Pomona Derby, good works and Bejarano rides for Vladimer Cerin.  Other contenders: #5, #1.

Race 4

#7 - SWEET SHIRLEY MAE - Ran 2nd in the G1 Spinaway at Saratoga in last, good works and Rosario rides.  Other contenders: #3, #5.

Race 5 G2 Marathon 

#1 - ATIGUN - Should save ground for Smith on the rail, comes out of G1 race in New York with best speed figure, sharp work to prepare.  Other contenders: #12, #3.

Race 6 G1 Juvenile Fillies Turf

#11 - MOONWALK - Longshot winner of G3 at Keenland in last, comes from upset specialist trainer Dale Romans’ barn, has good works to prepare.  Other contenders: #13, #16AE, #3.

Race 7 G1 Juvenile Fillies

#2 - EXECUTIVE PRIVILEGE - Home court advantage for this undefeated runner, sent out by Bejarano/Baffert combination, big win in G1 contest in last, has trained well for today.  Other contenders: #5, #8.

Race 8 G1 Filly and Mare Turf

#9 - MARKETING MIX - Won G1 in last for trainer Tom Proctor, has run well coast to coast, good works to get ready, ridden again today by Gomez.  Other contenders: #12, #6.

Race 9 G1 Ladies’ Classic

#2 - MY MISS AURELIA - Gets the edge in the best ladies’ field ever assembled, this undefeated star from Steve Asmussen’s barn comes off a G1 win, has excellent works, and is ridden again by Nakatani.  Other contenders: #8, #6. Note: it may be foolish to pick against the undefeated defending champion #5 AWESOME FEATHER who is 10/10 lifetime, but I am looking for a big price here. 

Race 10 G2 Twilight Derby

#8 - MYBEST BROTHER - Wire to wire winner of G2 Del Mar Derby can repeat if he gets an easy lead, has beaten most of the others in the field.  Other contenders: #3, #6.
